What types of counselling should you choose?
1. Long term:
♡ Your request concerns a problem that has been going on for several years or affects several areas of life at once.
♡ You want to change many things in your way of thinking, lifestyle or relationships.
♡ This is a classic option, it involves meetings once a week.
⌛ Average duration: 6-12 months.
The price with which you started consultations long-term is assigned to you for 3 months without an increase.

2. Short term:
○ Your problem is practical and specific and does not affect you deeply.
For example:
- preparation for an interview, exam, procrastination
- you have to make an important decision in life
- relationship problems, breakup
- you need to instill a new habit or remove the old one, etc.
○ Generally a person comes to this form of work after the completion of long-term therapy, when in general their life is already established.

⌛ Average duration: 1-10 meetings.

3. Case analysis:
○ You want to get a rough estimate of your case, condition, request and understand how to move on, who to contact.
or
○ You want to receive recommendations for techniques, exercises, literature for self-study.

step by step
Counselling process explained
Step 1. Registration and questionnaire
1) Read the terms of my work
2) If you agree with the terms, sign up for a consultation below.
3) Download, fill out the client questionnaire here and send it to me by email psychologist.victoria@gmail.com

Step 2. Assessment
Based on the questionnaire and the conversation, we will analyze your condition:
1) If there is a suspicion of a problem in physical health, I will recommend taking tests from a general practitioner.
2) If a clinical disorder (such as depression) is suspected, I will recommend seeing a psychiatrist for diagnosis.
3) We will analyze your current situation and its causes.

Step 3. Goal setting
1) We will discuss your request for therapy and analyze it.
2) We will formulate a goal for our work.

Step 4. Choosing a method
Depending on the case, we will choose the main method of further work.
1) For clinical cases, I usually work in CBT.
2) For the rest, I mostly use SFBT (Solution Focused Brief Therapy) and coaching.
3) Your individuality is also important for the choice of method. Feel free to share your feedback or preferences!

Step 5. Achieving the goal and objectives of therapy
1) During meetings, we discuss changes and progress in your life, homework, doing helping practices and exercises, etc.
I am an expert in asking questions, but you are an expert in your life. So let's work as a team!
2) Between meetings, you can test our hypotheses, try new solutions, and do your homework. Or just relax while your psyche is in the process of changing.

Step 6. Finishing work or new goal
For the last 1-2 sessions, we hold a farewell meeting, sum up the results, recall what has been achieved.
When we have reached the goal, we can either finish the job or set a new goal.
